Solution
The solution is to create structured financial pathways that connect members to affordable and appropriate sources of capital. This requires working directly with banks, SACCOs, public programs, and development partners to reduce barriers to credit.
The second part of the solution is to strengthen financial literacy and collective borrowing models. When members improve record keeping, savings behavior, and loan management, they become more creditworthy and better positioned to use finance productively.
